New York Giants Niece
I LOVE football with a passion. Its sad because I probably love football more than basketball, and I play basketball. My uncle was drafted to the New York Giants four years ago. He was drafted in the 2nd rounds, 28th pick. William Beatty is his name. He is the starting left tackle and wears #65 across his chest every game. He protects the quarter back Eli Manning EVERY GAME! I LOVE turning on the TV and seeing my uncle playing the sport he loves. Not only is he representing for our family, he is also representing for our city, York, PA. I really enjoy attending the Giants games, as well as the training camps. It is a great experience to be on the field with the players and see them live and in action. My uncle and I are really close. We grew up together in the same home under the roof of my grandparents. I would have never thought that My uncle Will would one day be a New York Giant! In high school, he was being recruited by mainly Division II schools and small DI schools. Uconn was his only big DI offer and he took it. After spending 5 years at Uconn, we spent the big day of the draft in Arizona at his draft party. It was such a nerve recking and exciting day! With over 200+ people there waiting for my uncle to receive his phone call, finally, the NEW YORK GIANTS CALLED HIM! What an amazing feeling! The room began to cheer, and all of our family and friends danced and yelled "Giants! Giants!" I truly love wearing the colors red, white, and blue to support my uncle!
